Rock City Fitness Announces New Trainer

October 5, 2010

,

Fitness industry veteran Bill Barber has joined the Rock City Fitness personal trainer team.

Bill is a 1984 graduate of Michigan State University.  He is certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise.  Addtionally, Bill is a YMCA certified indoor cycle instructor.  His diverse fitness training skills include specializing in working with the deaf and hard of hearing.

Bill has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and enjoys many recreational activities such as downhill skiing, cross country skiing, tennis, mountain biking, velodrome biking, rock wall and mountain climbing and baseball.

Sense of humor, positive energy and the desire to help others characterizes Bill’s approach to fitness training.  But don’t let that fool you.  You will be pushed and challenged.  His favorite definition is the one that describes the 6th degree of difficulty in rock climbing: “Close to the ultimate limits of human possibilities.”
