In-home and on-site training services are available to most metro Detroit communities. The Rochester Hills facility is located in the Wellpointe Medical Center.

Eric Maust is the owner of Rock City Fitness, a personal fitness training and consulting company serving metro Detroit. He has worked in the fitness industry for over 12 years, beginning his career at Fitness Formula Clubs in Chicago. Eric then spent over nine years working with Life Time Fitness in Chicago and Detroit.
In 2010, Eric took his comprehensive experience in the fitness industry and created Rock City Fitness. Eric has combined his extensive fitness training knowledge and signature training approach to create a company and brand that reflects his unique philosophy.
Eric’s philosophy is highlighted by progressive phases of training and blending traditional and functional resistance training components into a workout that builds a strong core and has a total body conditioning effect.
In addition to his 12 years of experience, Eric is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. He also earned a BA in Physical Education from Albion College.
Bill is a life-long fitness enthusiast and has been working with Rock City Fitness since 2010. Bill is a 1984 graduate of Michigan State University. He is certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise. Addtionally, Bill is a YMCA certified indoor cycle instructor. His diverse fitness training skills include specializing in working with the deaf and hard of hearing.
Bill has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and enjoys many recreational activities such as downhill skiing, cross country skiing, tennis, mountain biking, velodrome biking, rock wall and mountain climbing and baseball.
Sense of humor, positive energy and the desire to help others characterizes Bill’s approach to fitness training. But don’t let that fool you. You will be pushed and challenged. His favorite definition is the one that describes the 6th degree of difficulty in rock climbing: “Close to the ultimate limits of human possibilities.”
Andrea is an exceptional personal trainer with many years of experience in the fitness industry. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a personal trainer and lifestyle and weight management consultant. Additionally, Andrea has an advanced sports nutrition specialization.
Andrea not only has excellent personal training credentials, but she passionately pursues her own fitness training goals. Andrea’s personal commitment to exercise began with her decision to get in shape after her second pregnancy. Through diligent effort she lost 65 pounds and completely transformed her body. This makes Andrea uniquely able to relate with many clients who have similar situations and goals. Andrea can stand behind what she teaches because she has been there and it works!
Andrea enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, music and spending time with her family. As a mother she understands how challenging it can be to carve out time for exercise. While Andrea can work with a wide range of clients, her professional passion is to help busy women design an effective and efficient exercise program that fits their lifestyle.
Josh graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Human Development. While at WMU, Josh was a member of the football team as a walk on. This experience provided Josh with valuable first-hand knowledge, experience and insight into high-level sports performance training. Additionally, as part of his program of study, Josh interned for the WMU football program. Josh studied under head strength coach Nate People and helped implement year round workouts for the athletes.
While Josh’s experience and passion makes sports specific training a true area of expertise, he also enjoys implementing these principles into general population training. Josh will challenge and push his clients into goal-setting, focus, intensity and diligence. He believes these characteristics will serve anyone well in not only fitness training but in all spheres of life.
Josh enjoys all athletics, entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development toward maximizing one’s talents and abilities.
